11:32 pm - I is back
|
Hi! I am back. Yes, I was gone. Now I'm trying to get used to being home. It's weird not being weary of going out at dusk because of the cougars... But it's going well. So, I'm back. HI.

8:02 pm - Canada is cold. But not super cold.
|
Canada is beautiful!!! Although I probably think so because I'm not used to snow. But I think it's so pretty. We're at the base of the eastern side of the Rockies and it is so pretty. I bet the other side is cool... one day... But anyway, no squirrels yet. We got snowed out of the camp we're supposed to be at. (well not 'snowed out', just that none of us know how to drive in the snow and there was about a foot of it on the road we were supposed to go.) But I have seen Calgary, a lot, and some other parts near Calgary. Ooh, and we drove by the Olympic Park. So, yeah, my super non-travelling self has been a big geek with the others who have been here and all over the world. But i'm happy.

9:09 pm - I'm still alive, I think....
|
I don't think I've posted anything for months. So for anyone wondering: I'm still alive.
I haven't been up to much, just watching too much Angel, dog walking, and getting fat at my grandma's.
Now I'm watching Bringing Down the House and thinking of Professor Butterhands. "Hello The Jerk. How are you the doing? That's the good. See you the later. The bye."
Yeah, I'm boring. But alive :)

3:29 pm - Jury Duty Sucks!
|
I just spent three long days at the courthouse and yeah, jury duty sucks! lots of sitting and waiting and then finally you get to talk about the case. And then you realize a group of unqualified people just passed judgement on someone that can screw up their life forever, or at least some time. Our case wasn't that bad but another one going on was.
So yeah, nobody get arrested or go to trial. Because if it sucks this much for the jury, it's gotta suck sooooo much more for the defendant.

8:07 pm - "I have a theory, I think it's witches..."
|
I saw the live performance of my roommate and others in the barn do "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". My roommate was Buffy. I saw my roommate make out with a female Spike. I was confused as I have never seen any Buffy episodes. The whole thing was awesome.
That was part of my end of college senior experience. Another was finding inventive ways of getting into the second floor of the Nat Sci building to get candy. The elevator worked.

11:31 pm - Arrested Development(the show) rocks!
|
I just got back from a live version of 2 Arrested Development episodes. Oh my god, so hilarious! I thought the interpretation/mimicking of the actors was the funniest. Seeing it live was funnier because the different "flashback" clips in the show are funnier because the cast is running back and forth to play them. The guy who played Buster was the best.

Who is up to going to the Frog's game next Saturday? They have a song they play where they changed lyrics to "Who let the FROGS out?!" It's hilarious. On their website they're trying to get a whole 500 people to show up to the next game. They claimed there was 300 at the one I went to the other weekend, but I don't quite believe them.
*fingers crossed* Maya has a photo shoot this Tuesday with Old Navy. I think, maybe, hopefully...
I guess I'd better start working on my midterm tomorrow and the one the next day... I don't want to...

12:20 am - birthdays are the best!
|
I finally get when people say " they are so drunk right now" that they are so drunk right now. I've had five drinks and being a light weight I am so drunk right now. But fortunately not vomity right now. Thank you Ayesha, Megan, Jackie, Danielle, Abbey, and Guillueme (who was ACTUALLY drunk). I am a little drunk right now, Jackie knows. I stumbled home with Megan. Damn, I'm a lite weight.

5:24 pm - movie list
|
Ok, So I've been thinking about this list of movies instead of paying attention in class. It's a list of '80s fantasy type movies. here's what I have so far: Ladyhawke Labyrinth Last Unicorn Legend
Willow
Secret of Nimh
Flight of dragons
Princess Bride
Never ending story
Dark Crystal Dragon slayer
Excaliber?
Time Bandits
Can you guys think of any others that fit this general category? I feel like I'm missing a big one...

12:51 am - Take a Hike!
|
The rest of this week I plan on taking hikes with doggies. Whomever wants to join me is welcome. Let me know what days and times are good. And also if you'd like to take Gypsy or Dugan too (I need to call their mommies for that). Probably go to Los Gatos or Saratoga. Unless you do not want to take dogs, then Rancho san Antonio or Villa Monatalvo.
Thank you Mindy for good times. :)

11:20 pm - WEdnesday trip
|
So far: hike about 11:30, Los Gatos (St. Joseph's Hill) (Warning: hills, somewhat biggish ones)
Hikers (so far): me Min Oscar Betsy Mindy Janna
Dogs (so far); Maya Teo Dugan Gypsy
Trying to find a map for where it is, may have to just meet somewhere and caravan. I think it's: Los Gatos blvd turn at the stop sign in front of a dealership and then turn right at a fork and then turn again away from the winery and then park at the end of the road. So, I think I need some real directions or map.
Anyone is invited. After hike, we can do whatever. Slurpees are good.
